In 2008 I created a static HTML design website using Adobe Dreamweaver for New York-based commercial and fine art photographer Margaret Casella. In 2012, she asked me to update her website thus allowing me the opportunity to make my first customized responsive design website and blog within the WordPress content management system. This makes it easy to view on big screens (desktops and laptops) and small screens (tablets and smart phones), edit the content online (no need to buy or download software), easy to add new features, and host the website (for the portfolio) and blog (for news and events) in one place. Blog post update about exhibition. The blog section is a great place to post news that can be related to the portfolio, or to show updates about other interest. Also, linking the blog updates to other places on the site helps connect relevant information and improve search engine optimization.
